This Amazing Woman Quit Her Job on Wall Street...

...to Open a Sanctuary for Dogs in Need of Forever Homes

Eva Armstrong had a high-paying job on Wall Street but never felt fulfilled in her work. Her true passion had always been her love of animals, especially dogs. So, after a career in the city of bright lights, she packed her bags and followed her calling. Armstrong opened Play Pups Dog Camp in Pennsylvania, a 52-acre farm, where she rescues and rehabilitates dogs in kill shelters to be adopted into their forever homes.
Play Pups Dog Camp isn’t your typical shelter. There are no cages for the dogs to be locked in each day or the threat that they could be euthanized at any moment. Instead, it is a fun-filled haven for dogs who need a place to stay before they find a forever home. At the camp, the dogs run, play, hike, swim, and even kayak in a completely relaxed and outdoorsy facility. Seeing Eva play with the pups on her rolling Pennsylvania property is proof enough that quitting Wall Street was the right move for this amazing woman.
If you’re looking to make a fur baby a part of your family, be sure to adopt, and not shop, so that you can save an adorable dog like those at Eva’s Play Pups.
